My son-in-law and grandchildren are behind locked doors in Boston.
All Boston public transportation is suspended.
Boston Schools are closed.
My daughter is in lockdown at Beth Israel Deaconess hospital.
(The first bomber is currently
lying in her morgue.)

I wondered about families separated from each other by this (necessary) lockdown, as well as ill or elderly people who are dependent on others but can't be attended to, and perhaps children left home alone while their parents are locked down at their places of employment...the list goes on; things we don't think about. I hope your daughter can get home to her family soon.
