I've made pea gravel paths in the rear garden and love to walk there in the mornings. I still have MANY books to go through, but that will be a good winter chore. I&#...Lovely reading about your summer putterings... I'm doing much of the same now that I am home. I winnowed two bags of similar books to unload somewhere. I like Vanity Fair too, but can't subscribe because it takes up too much time. I reserve my reading for airplanes. My little ritual is to pick up the latest issue just before boarding,and it keeps me occupied during the whole flight no matter how long! I love the advertising just as much.
